Huw Ponting, partner and Head of Personal Injury here at Thrings, has been invited to speak at the Royal Society of Medicine on Saturday 15 June. The all-day meeting - entitled 'Memory in Civil and Criminal Settings' has been organised by the Clinical Forensic and Legal Medicine Section together with the Medico-Legal Society and the Expert Witness Institute.
Huw is committed to fostering a greater mutual understanding between the medical and legal professions. His talk, 'The Legal Approach to Brain Injury Claims', will describe the legal process of making a claim - in particular, the legal tests that apply to claimants - and offers tips on constructing an effective medico-legal report.
