Thrings lawyer to speak at Royal Society of Medicine

Huw Ponting, partner and Head of Personal Injury here at Thrings, has been invited to speak at the Royal Society of Medicine on Saturday 15 June. The all-day meeting - entitled 'Memory in Civil and Criminal Settings' has been organised by the Clinical Forensic and Legal Medicine Section together with the Medico-Legal Society and the Expert Witness Institute.

Huw is committed to fostering a greater mutual understanding between the medical and legal professions. His talk, 'The Legal Approach to Brain Injury Claims', will describe the legal process of making a claim - in particular, the legal tests that apply to claimants - and offers tips on constructing an effective medico-legal report.
