Nick Hewer, best known as Sir Alan Sugar’s right-hand man on The Apprentice, gave West accountants and professional advisers a behind-the-scenes view of life as TV celebrity when he spoke at the annual Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) West of England dinner last night.
Swindon-born Nick, who also hosts Countdown, will shared anecdotes about TV filming as he explained what a typical day entails on the set of the two popular TV shows.
Thrings were delighted to sponsor the dinner which was held at Bristol’s Thistle Grand Hotel.
Thrings managing partner Thomas Sheppard said: “We have been working closely with the ICAEW and its members for seven years now and we could not be happier. We are particularly proud to be supporting the long-term relationship between the ICAEW and the Prince’s Trust, who together have greatly contributed to Bristol and the surrounding area.”
