Geoffrey specialised in probate work for 15 years at Osborne Clarke, before leaving to join Wood Awdry & Ford, which subsequently merged with Thrings. Geoffrey has a wide experience dealing with estate Administration, including those comprising agricultural, business, heritage and Lloyds underwriting assets.
With clients increasingly holding assets abroad, Geoffrey has built a reputation for dealing with estates where foreign jurisdictions are involved, and he is frequently in contact with lawyers abroad, and asked to assist and advise clients in this area.
For many years, he has received a high volume of instructions from Jordans to assist Irish solicitors in obtaining Grants of Representation in England for cases where people have died in the Republic of Ireland, leaving assets in England.
Geoffrey is also experienced in dealing with insolvent estates, wills and elderly client issues.
