Matthew joined the firm in September 2007, having spent the previous seven years working for a Kent-based law firm dealing exclusively with private property transactions.
Matthew is experienced in all aspects of private property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgage and bridging facilities, and also site assembly and plot sales in connection with residential developments.
In addition, Matthew acts on behalf of a number of landlord clients, advising on a range of matters including lease extensions and various supplemental licences and deeds.
Recent transactions include:
- The disposal of the freehold interest of a 38-unit block of residential flats with commercial elements as part of the sale of a company, at a value of £2.25million
- The sale of a residential property in Central London at a value of £4.25million
- The refinancing of a small property portfolio to the value of £3.2million
