Associate Solicitor
Sharon advises upon all aspects of relationship breakdown and specialises in constructive dispute resolution methods, including Collaborative process. As an active member of Resolution, Sharon encourages clients from the outset to focus on long-term solutions and goals, giving absolute priority to the needs of any children. She is described by her clients as being incredibly supportive and sensitive to their feelings. Whilst litigation is always a last resort, court process does have its place and, in those exceptional cases, Sharon remains a confident and calm litigator.
Recent examples of Sharon’s work include:
- Negotiating out of court financial settlement terms in a case involving complex business interests and tax issues
- Advising upon various Pre and Post Nuptial / Civil Partnership agreements to protect and preserve family wealth
- Securing a Shared Residence Order for family members of a child whose carer parent died suddenly to ensure the child could remain living with those he knew and loved as opposed to being returned to a long absent parent who was a stranger to him.
