Thrings and the Countryside Education Trust continue their search for those at the heart of Hampshire’s food-producing community.
Following on from the successful ‘Thrings Meets’ series, ‘Thrings Eats’ celebrates the businesses, groups and organisations that put food at the heart of Hampshire.
The project is being run by Thrings in support of the Countryside Education Trust (CET), the charity which aims to help children and adults learn about, understand and care for the countryside.
This month Sally Pike, a partner in Thrings’ Family team, speaks to Nick Butler about his transition from London-based agricultural banker to lavender farmer in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, and finds out how a recent appearance on Britain’s Got Talent could lead to a rise in demand for the family-run business’ range of lavender-laced biscuits, soaps and hand sanitisers.
