Thrings celebrates win at South West Property Awards

Thrings has been named winner of the Property Deal of the Year at Insider’s South West Property Awards, recognising the firm’s pivotal role in one of the region’s most significant transactions.

The awards celebrate excellence across the property and construction sectors in the South West. Thrings was honoured for its work advising Baylis Estates on the sale of approximately 14.92 acres of fully serviced land at SouthPoint Business Park, Chippenham to Siemens Mobility. The deal paves the way for a £100 million state-of-the-art research and manufacturing facility, supporting regional growth and innovation.

The judging panel praised the project as “a prestigious development contributing on both a regional and national level, retaining a major national employer and unlocking huge potential.”

The Thrings team was led by Real Estate Partner Robert Barnes, Construction Partner Natalia Sokolov and Planning and Environment Partner Ros Trotman, and included Manjinder Kang (Senior Associate – Commercial Property), Fred Quartermain (Partner - Planning and Environment) and Lorraine Neve (Senior Associate - Planning and Environment).

Thrings was also shortlisted for Property Law Firm of the Year, further highlighting the firm’s reputation for excellence in the built environment.
