Alastair is a partner in the Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Bristol. He spent 12 years working in the City with Nabarro LLP before joining the firm in 2006.
Alastair works on a wide range of commercial disputes for clients ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs to global corporations. He conducts not only UK court litigation but also overseas claims and domestic and international arbitrations. He deals with claims to the Pensions and Financial Ombudsmen, as well as regulatory complaints, including challenging the decisions of government agencies by way of judicial review and dealing with complaints to the various public and professional authorities. He actively uses alternative dispute resolution procedures to achieve effective commercial resolutions of disputes for clients, particularly mediation.

•Sport, Advertising & Media related matters (e.g. representation, agency, distribution, media rights, sponsorship)
Alastair also supports the commercial team in issues such as internal investigations, corporate governance problems, risk management and dispute avoidance.
Alastair is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, Financial Services Lawyers Association and Association of Pension Lawyers. He has contributed to various legal publications and presents seminars to clients, principally focusing on risk management and dispute avoidance.
