What motivated you to become a lawyer?

Who didn’t want to be a superhero when they grew up? Being a lawyer was the closest thing to it that I could find, being able to help people, make a tangible difference in client’s lives and setting precedents for the future. Plus being a litigator means I get to advocate for a living which is also a perk.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The variety of the day to day job! The law is constantly evolving and updating to meet the needs to the changing world and therefore no one day is the same. You also have the opportunity to meet people from all works of life, whether that be private individuals, a family business or directors of a multinational corporation

If you weren't a lawyer what would you do?

If anything was possible, I would buy a ranch in Montana and be a cowgirl! I might not have the skillset but that doesn’t stop it being a reality in my ever-optimistic head. I think I could turn my hand to wrangling cattle for failing which, being able to be in the outdoors and making smores on a daily basis would be great!

Name one thing that makes your life better?

Having an endless supply of coffee is the magical elixir that keeps my life ticking! That and food - specifically baking, which is the best form of stress relief especially given there are, most of time, tasty results at the end.
