Law firm Thrings has advanced its position in this year’s Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide following outstanding feedback from clients.
In the 2025 guide, unveiled today, every one of the firm’s rankings has improved, with more teams and individual lawyers making the cut to be featured alongside their peers, doubling the number of rankings last year.
This includes the firm’s Private Client team in Bath, who not only retain their place in the rankings for Private Wealth Law in Somerset but have been placed in Band 1 – the highest rank available in the guide – being recognised by Chambers for their “thorough knowledge and understanding” and “caring passion”.
New to the rankings this year is the firm’s Private Wealth Disputes team, who are ranked in Band 3 in the South West, being acknowledged for their “calm and measured approach” and “great empathy with clients”.
The team’s head, Emily Prout, also enters the ranking for the first time, going straight in at Band 2 with clients having praised her “supremely professional” guidance and knowledge of the law as well as being “personable and a pleasure to deal with”.
The incredible strength in depth of the Private Wealth Disputes team is also showcased with the inclusion of the “no-nonsense and very practical” Georgia Wookey in the rankings, who retains her “Associate to Watch” ranking, with clients saying they would “have no hesitation” in referring someone to Georgia, crediting to her “emotional intelligence”, “knowledge and experience”.
Meanwhile, Jayne Kemsley, London-based Partner in the Residential Property team, advances in the High Value Residential Real Estate rankings from Band 4 to Band 3. This was supported by the feedback from clients on her providing “a highly efficient, proactive, customer-focused service, with great integrity, providing an ideal balance of speed of transaction with protection of clients' interests”.
Completing the firm, Penelope Munro, Partner in the firm’s Private Client team, maintains her place in the guide, moving up to Band 2.
