Jess is a partner in the firm’s commercial property team based in the Ross-on-Wye office, bringing almost two decades of experience in supporting clients across the real estate sector.

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of non-contentious commercial property work, advising clients in both the private and public sector on everything from acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work to portfolio management and development transactions.

Jess also has particular experience working on a number of infrastructure projects, ranging from rail, road and water to renewables, electricity and gas. She has also worked on several renewable energy projects involving solar energy and battery storage.

  • Acted for a national rail infrastructure organisation in the management of their extensive land portfolio including sales, acquisitions, leases and easements including the lease of a flagship travel hub.
  • Acted for various higher education establishments in respect of a number of strategic disposals of land/buildings.
  • Worked with an international oil/energy client to provide due diligence in respect of a number of large scale solar projects and subsequently entering into options for lease, options for easements and cross over agreements
  • Acted for various renewable energy companies in respect of the real estate elements of battery storage projects
  • Acted for a highways infrastructure company in respect of acquisition of land pursuant to CPO and disposal of surplus land.
  • Worked with a large rail infrastructure provider in respect of the acquisition of various high value sites required for development of the railway network in London and also in general network management work.
  • Worked with a large retail shopping centre owner in respect of the leases and other landlord and tenant transactional work relating to units across a portfolio of shopping centres throughout the UK
