Jonathan is a key member of the property litigation team, dealing with a full spectrum of contentious property issues.

He has significant experience in relation to landlord and tenant matters such as business lease renewals, disputed break notices, forfeiture, enforcement of lease covenants, dilapidations and the impact of insolvency procedures on lease obligations.

Jonathan regularly acts for clients in relation to disputes regarding covenants, property contracts, overage, wayleaves and other similar consents, nuisance, adverse possession, boundaries, easements, misrepresentation claims and property related professional negligence.   

In addition to resolving disputes though the courts, Jonathan has significant experience of mediation, expert determination and arbitration.  He also provides advice on how clients can seek to reduce the risk of disputes/litigation arising, typically in conjunction with transactional colleagues.  

Jonathan works with corporate clients, charities and private clients.
