Kiran is an Associate Solicitor in our Planning an Environment team, with experience across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters and a strong track record in helping clients achieve their planning goals.
Having joined Thrings in 2022, following the completion of a training contract at a specialist planning and environmental law firm and a secondment with the Environmental Law Foundation, Kiran has carved out her practice with a keen interest and expertise in planning and environmental litigation with success across a range of cases including objections, planning appeals (by way of hearings and inquiries), judicial reviews and statutory appeals.
In addition, Kiran’s practice covers non-contentious matters where she is involved with negotiating section 106 agreements, and advising on all aspect of the Planning and Environmental regimes. She advises developers, land owners and the agricultural sector on planning matters including permitted development rights, use classes, heritage matters, enforcement, licencing and policy interpretation.
