Kiran Maher

Kiran joined Thrings in 2022 as a Solicitor in the Planning and Environment team, having completed a training contract at a specialist planning and environmental law firm which included a secondment with the Environmental Law Foundation. Kiran has experience with planning and environmental litigation cases including objections, planning appeals (by way of hearings and inquiries), judicial reviews and statutory appeals. In addition, Kiran’s practice covers non-contentious matters where she is involved with negotiating section 106 agreements, and advising on all aspect of the Planning and Environmental regimes. She advises developers, land owners and the agricultural sector on planning matters including permitted development rights, use classes, heritage matters, enforcement and policy interpretation.
