    Matt is an Associate within the Corporate Team.

    Acting for a diverse range of clients, Matt advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, fund raising and investment rounds. He also assists with joint venture and shareholder arrangements, share incentive schemes and general corporate matters.

    As part of the Banking and Finance Group, Matt assists with secured lending, inter-creditor arrangements and acquisition finance. He has experience in acting for borrowers, banks and alternative lenders.

    • Assisting our client, a national farming and property business, in relation to the refinancing of a £47m facility with a highstreet bank.
    • Supporting our client, an insurtech business, in connection with a £5.5m Series A investment round.
    • Advising our client, an international banking group, in connection with their security arrangements.
    • Preparing a joint venture shareholders’ agreement for a development and asset management start-up.
    • Advising our client, an internet service provider, in relation to a £50m investment from a private equity house.
    • Implementing a group restructuring, involving multiple capital reduction demergers, in relation to a property investment business.
    • Assisting our client, the shareholders of a national logistics business, in relation to their disposal of the business by share sale.
