  • Family & Relationships

  • Representing a wife in a multimillion pound heavily defended case where the financial issues were complex including agricultural land, business assets and future revenue issues. A significant award was made in favour of the client.
  • Representing a husband in achieving a settlement in a farming case which had complexity due to the fact that separate businesses aside from the farming enterprise were run from the land and both parties wished to continue to retain a part of the land /assets so they could continue to generate their respective incomes and preserve the farm for future generations.
  • Achieving a good award for a client where the central asset was a large military pension already in payment which had subsequent tax implications on its division.
  • Representing a wife in achieving a substantial capital award where originally the husband failed to disclose the true reality of his financial position. The case involved instruction of several professional experts to assist with the disclosure of the relevant documentation.
  • Successfully representing a father in securing an equal parenting role with the children where the mother had repeatedly attempted to restrict contact.
  • Negotiating favourable terms for a very high-net-worth client in the preparation of a pre-nuptial agreement to protect their assets and business to the best degree possible in contemplation of marriage.
