Independent, full-service law firm Thrings has appointed Stephanie Yates as a legal director in its London office, joining the firm’s Private Property team.
Stephanie joins from TLT, bringing more than a decade of experience advising UK and international clients on high-value and complex transactions, involving properties valued in excess of £20m.
A recognised specialist in her field and a contributor to private property law commentary, she was named in the Citywealth Top 40 Under 40 Private Client Lawyers 2024. Stephanie has built a reputation for developing long-standing relationships with high net worth clients, frequently advising families across multiple generations.
She has extensive experience advising UK and international clients on the acquisition, refinancing and disposal of high-value residential property across England and Wales, with a particular expertise in portfolio restructuring and private lending. Her work regularly includes complex refinancing of prime residential assets, acting for lenders on multi-million-pound facilities for overseas corporate borrowers secured against portfolios of properties in prime central London.
