Associate – Commercial

Abi came to law later in life after having a successful career in her 20s working as a publican. A spell in recruitment headhunting lawyers followed, which made Abi realise that a career in law was for her. Abi studied at the University of Southampton and qualified as a solicitor in 2015. Abi then moved in-house for an international manufacturer where she travelled to Europe to negotiate high value commercial contracts. Abi joined us in November 2021 after almost four years with a growing Dorset firm.

Abi advises a variety of clients from start-ups and SMEs to larger multinational companies. Abi can advise on a range of commercial contracts but specialises in goods and services agreements, e-commerce, prize competitions and promotions and intellectual property.

Abi is passionate about getting to know her clients’ businesses to give practical and commercial advice and to ensure that commercial contracts are really tailored to client’s requirements.
